St. Theresa Mission Hospital Approves the Budget for 2026 at Annual Board Meeting

The Board of Directors of St. Theresa Mission Hospital has approved an annual budget of $844,941 for 2026, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s continued growth and service delivery.

The decision was made during the hospital’s 9th Annual Board Meeting held on Tuesday, January 28, 2026, where board members and donors expressed deep satisfaction with the facility’s remarkable progress and achievements.

The Board noted several key accomplishments that have positioned the hospital as a trusted healthcare provider in the region, including improved quality of healthcare services, increased patient trust and attendance, strengthened management and accountability, and growing partnership and donor confidence.

Presiding over the meeting, Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala, who serves as Chairperson of the Board, expressed great joy and gratitude to God for the hospital’s success.

He warmly thanked the Board, management, staff, and donors for their dedication and support, and reaffirmed his commitment to continue strengthening the institution.

“We are committed to ensuring that St. Theresa Mission Hospital continues to serve the people with dignity, compassion, and excellence,” Bishop Hiiboro said.

The meeting concluded with renewed hope and a shared vision for a stronger, more sustainable St. Theresa Mission Hospital in 2026 and beyond.

The approved budget will support the hospital’s operations and expansion of services to meet the growing healthcare needs of communities in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio and surrounding areas.
