RII-YUBU, SOUTH SUDAN — A historic milestone was reached today in Rii-Yubu as 42 students sat for their National Examinations at Franz Bracht Secondary School—the first time such exams have ever been held in the area.

Among the 42 candidates, 38 are students of Franz Bracht Secondary School, while 6 candidates joined from St. Andrea Secondary School in Tambura, reflecting a spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two educational institutions.
Early this morning, school administrators, teachers, and community members gathered for a brief but heartfelt assembly to encourage the candidates. The atmosphere was filled with pride and emotion as leaders emphasized the significance of this achievement for the region’s educational development.
Speaking on behalf of the school, Dinizio Danis Zangazee expressed deep gratitude and called for continued community support.

“We request your prayers and blessings for our students as they begin their examinations,” he said. “This is a proud day for Rii-Yubu.”
Hosting the National Examinations locally is seen as a major advancement for education in Rii-Yubu. Previously, students were required to travel long distances to sit for their assessments—often facing financial and logistical challenges. This year’s development eases that burden and strengthens prospects for local academic growth.

As the examinations proceed, the community watches with hope and confidence, trusting that the candidates will represent their schools with commitment and excellence.
